About Me

Gregory Crespo is a trauma-informed Awake in the Wild and Healing with Nature mindfulness teacher who has led residential retreats, guided nature-based programs, and taught in the University of California Eco Resilience Initiative. With a meditation and mindfulness practice spanning over twenty years, it was through earth-based practices and ecodharma communities that the enormity and possibility of the climate crisis landed in his heart and brought him to focus his work and practice in service of the Earth and future generations. He believes deeply that for the well-being of our species and all living beings on this planet, humans desperately need to heal our separation from the Earth.

Greg is a second-generation American, an attorney, and a veteran who works with a nonprofit supporting organizations working at the intersection of Earth Awareness mindfulness and meditation practices and the climate crisis. He lives with his wife and son on and around the ancestral lands of the Nipmuc, Wompanoag, Mohican, and Wabanaki people in Heath, MA.
