Mutual Generosity

We honor the Buddhist principle of dana, or mutual generosity. Our teachers cultivate the quality of generosity by studying, living by, and then offering these teachings to the community. At the same time, our community is invited to cultivate this beautiful heart quality by offering support to the teachers (and Awake in the Wild) so we may be able to continue offering these teachings.

The Teaching Team

The Sunday Evening Sit is primarily led by Awake in the Wild teachers: Kimberly Sogge, James Busby, Christine Lustik and Quentin Finney on a rotational basis. From time to time we will have guest teachers hosting the sit as well.

Sample Meditation Catalog

A Glimpse Into Our Daily and Sunday Sits

Selected Recordings from Our Online Gatherings

Over the years, we have recorded many of our Daily and Sunday meditation sessions. While we are no longer offering ongoing recordings, we’ve created a curated sample catalog so you can experience the flavor of our sits, hear the guidance offered by our teachers, and get a sense of the community practice. These selected recordings represent the essence of what we share together—mindfulness, nature-based reflection, and supportive teachings. We hope they offer a helpful window into our practice.
